Individual Therapy
 

One of the greatest joys in my practice is connecting with my clients.  I value the trust they instill in me as their therapist.  I empower them to focus on their strengths as they explore their potential.  We work toward healthy mind, body and spirit to allow for needed change and personal growth.  In therapy, we take steps to become mindful of client's needs to reconnect with his/her true self and explore that which holds him back.

Marriage and Family Therapy

​​

Marriage and Family therapy allows loved ones to work together to restore hope, bond and re-establish meaning in their relationship.  Therapy aids in rebuilding that foundation.  It promotes strength for change and revitalizes drive to tackle issues and concerns.   I believe a strong primary support system is necessary in order to reap the full benefits of therapy and achieve treatment goals.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I am proud to have satisfied requirements by the Association for Play Therapy. As a Registered Play Therapist, I use specialized education and training to better serve my clients by offering alternative methods in therapy. Play therapy works great with adolescents and adults who may be stuck or unsuccessful with traditional "talk therapy."

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Group and Skills Training

 

In my counseling practice I have worked with support groups, social skills groups, and specific-issue-related groups. 

I enjoy working with parents and caregivers to address parenting, maladaptive behaviors, and behavior management skills develpment.   Team-building exercises, filial therapy , and psycho-education are some approaches I use.  I feel it is necessary to provide my clients with experiences and life skills they may adapt in their everyday life for continued future success.
