Therapy Fees

The cost of service is $100.00 per 45-50 minute individual session and $140.00 per 50-80 minute family/couple session.  A sliding-scale fee may be considered based on financial hardship.  Fees are subject to change due to a rise in the fee scale, change in client income, and length of session.

 

Payment is due at the beginning of each session. Fees rendered to Henrietta Dominguez, doing business as Henrietta Dominguez, MA, LPC, in the form of cash, check or credit card will be accepted. There is a 3.7% service charge added to the total bill for payments made by credit card.  Your credit card number will be placed on file in order to cover expenses related to late cancellations, no-shows and NSF bank charges. Late arrivals and missed appointments are responsible for the full appointment fee. To cancel or re-schedule, please contact Henrietta at least 48 hours in advance of your appointment time. With the exception of emergency circumstances, any cancellations made less than 48 hours from your appointment time will incur the full cost of the therapy session. 

 

Henrietta Dominguez does not take insurance. However, therapy may be covered in full or in part through your medical insurance or employee benefit plan. Consider checking your coverage by asking the following questions:

  • Do I have mental health benefits that cover out-of-network providers?

  • How much does my plan cover for an out-of-network provider? 

  • What is my deductible and has it been met? 

  • How many sessions per calendar year does my plan cover? 

  • What is the coverage amount per therapy session? Reimbursement procedures?

  • Is approval required from my primary care physician?
